Wicked watched Lamb dance along the grassy fields, carefree and full of life. Jealousy swelled within her heart, bubbling up until she could taste its vile bitterness. Hatred covered her beady little eyes until she was consumed with rage. Wicked devised a plan. Aided by her newfound companion, Heartless, they befriended sweet unsuspecting Lamb. Hiding behind the masks of Genuine and Honesty, they lured Lamb to their lair. Wicked's mother, Betrayal, was overjoyed at her daughter's adept deceit. Treachery, who gave birth to Heartless, was quick to bind Lamb, ensuring her captivity. Lies about Lamb dripped from Treachery's salivating mouth until she was saturated with the hot and sticky iniquity. Heartless watched with excitement as Betrayal handed the dagger to Wicked. With an evil smile, Wicked, the prevaricator, approached Lamb, dagger in hand. Though Lamb begged to know why- what she had done to bring about such unrighteousness and injustice, Wicked remained heartlessly silent. In one final attempt, Lamb reminded Wicked of their friendship and how she loved her; not a single utterance from Wicked. Exhilarated by the presence of Betrayal, Treachery and Heartless, Wicked plunged the knife into Lamb's tender pure heart. Leaving her to die, each took one last shot at Lamb and left celebrating their handiwork.
Shepherd, working in a nearby field, heard the cries of the wounded Lamb and came to her rescue. He picked her up, took her to a safe place and tended her wounds. Soon Lamb was strong enough to return to her beloved hills to dance, once again, upon the green grass. In complete unbelief, all rejoicing from her enemies ceased as they watched Lamb dance, stronger and better than before. They couldn't believe she wasn't utterly destroyed and that their efforts came to no avail. Stealthily, they advanced upon her once again, embodied by evil- this time they would not fail. Just as they were about to pounce, Shepherd joined Lamb in her dance. Writhing in anguish, the enemies were forced to watch the two together, knowing they could not overpower Shepherd; Lamb was protected. Giving up, they slunk back into their dark dismal cave, while Shepherd and Lamb danced freely and joyfully together upon the hills.
